Compassion Place

LMS ministries — ministering to the needs of the body with food, clothing and shelter; ministering to the needs of the soul with the Good News of Jesus.

LMS Compassion Place ministries exist for this purpose. There are currently ten Compassion Centers in Maryland and York, PA where over 500 people come daily for help with the physical necessities of life and for the nourishment of spirit that only Jesus can give.

We will be sorting and organizing clothing donations for the winter season for those in need. Volunteers will receive instructions and help from experienced volunteers on-site.

Wear appropriate active clothing and shoes as you will be standing and moving around.

NOTE:

○ Parking will be available to volunteers in the back of the center

○ Volunteers can enter through the front door of the building

We are collecting any canned goods, clean furniture, or clean clothing! There is also a need for:

• Baby Diapers
• Wipes
• Cleaning items (whatever you use to clean, we will take!)

Any donated items will be dropped off at the final Day of Service event which will be announced soon.
