Purpose & Mission
The Blue Ribbon Project is designed to be a community outreach for prevention of child abuse and as a support network for abused and neglected children. The Blue Ribbon Project offers functional outreach programs that directly serve abused and neglected children in the community, youth in foster care, and adult survivors.

In-Person service opportunity
Want to build a Backpack of Love for a child in need? Now is your opportunity. Join us in making Backpacks of Love for children who are just entering the foster system. With these backpacks full of essential supplies and comfort items, these children are able to work their their difficult transition into foster life.
Once these backpacks are made, they are then delivered to foster children within a few hours of the foster child entering the system. These bags are gender and age appropriate for children anywhere from newborn to 17 years old.

Donation Needs
The Blue Ribbon Project is also in need of donations! The Blue Ribbon project is in need of lots of new baby items and toddler items. This includes:
- Receiving Blankets
- Bibs
- Burp Cloths
- Infant Teethers
- Pacifiers
- Bottles
- Diaper Rash Cream
- Baby Lotion
- Baby Wipes
- Small baby/toddler toys
Items will be dropped off at the final Day of Service event scheduled for Friday, December 5th.
