Bkind
Purpose & Mission
BKind is a non-profit organization that serves the homeless and less fortunate population in Maryland. We partner with local county resources as well as faith-based and secular organizations to provide food, hygiene products, blankets, coats, and other necessities to help the individuals we serve each week. We also seek to connect individuals to available local resources in an effort to get them the help they need, and break the cycles of homelessness and poverty one individual and family at a time.

In-person Service/Donation Opportunity
Please join us at BKind on Saturday, November 7th as we provide a warm meal for those in need. BKind serves about 150 friends each week. Our goal - provide warm bowl of soup to those who come to the grocery pop up.
Your mission: Make a crockpot of soup and bring warm to BKind.
Location:
BKind serves every Saturday, rain or shine, in the parking lot of Abundant Life Church, located at: 7305 E. Furnace Branch Rd., Glen Burnie, MD 21060.
Setup will be at 10:15 am and we will serve from approximately 11:00 am - 12:30pm.
If you choose to make soup and serve please know you will receive two stamps (one for each activity.) If you want to make soup but cannot attend - find "soup partner" to manage your soup donation and return your crockpot.
Roll/Bread donations: Drop-off will be at Chick-fil-A Crofton by Friday, November 6th.
Donation Needs
BKind Toy Drive: Our friends at BKind are working hard to make the holidays special for the children they serve each weekend. How can you help? Purchase a NEW toy for a child that will be gifted by Santa at a special Christmas event this holiday season.
Toys will be dropped off at the final Day of Service event scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.
Signing up to donate to BKind simply gives us an idea of how many people will be participating in donating. Thank you!
