Books for International Goodwill (BIG)

Books for International Goodwill (B.I.G.) is the largest all-volunteer book distribution project in the world having distributed over 9 million books to underserved populations in the U.S. and abroad. To get an idea of what 9 million books looks like, think about laying them end to end. Nine million books would stretch from Annapolis to Chicago and most of the way back. B.I.G. is the signature project of the Parole (Annapolis) Rotary Club. Our goal is to “keep books alive,” rather than seeing them discarded and ending up in landfills.

Love to read? Have little ones that have outgrown their children’s books? Maybe you have some non-fiction books that have been ready and finally need a new home? Don’t let those books collect dust on the shelf! They could be sparking imagination for others!

What to drop: Books in gently-used or new condition. Only gently used books will be accepted! B.I.G. has a specific need for non-fiction and children's books at this time.

Date: Any day!

Drop of time: 24/7 shed is available for drop off at the B.I.G. warehouse.

Location: B.I.G. Warehouse - 451 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401 

All books must be dropped off directly to B.I.G. We will NOT be collecting books at any of the Chick-fil-A locations during the course of the PTS or at the final Day of Service Event.
