Mission:
Hospice of the Chesapeake is a nonprofit hospice, supportive and bereavement care organization whose mission is caring for life throughout the journey with illness and loss.
This year through Passport to Serve we will be honoring Veterans in hospice and their care givers by providing a caring touch and delivering a meal. All meals provided by Chick-fil-A.
On Veteran's Day, Passport to Serve Volunteers will join together to spruce up the yard of a Veteran in hospice. This small group will rake leaves, do a little pruning and other yard work.

Drop-off Volunteer Opportunity:
Activity: Create or Make a Seasonal Wreath
Seasonal wreaths may be dropped to one of the participating Chick-fil-A restaurants. The wreath will be hand-delivered by PTS volunteers dropping dinner to a veteran's family who is currently in hospice.
Date: TBD (Please feel free to make your wreath ahead of time. The wreath making volunteers will receive communication as dates are firmed up.)
