Thank you for joining in the effort to make Blessing Bags for the homeless. Blessing Bags will be distributed by our partners BKind and ACAN to those in need.
What goes in a Blessing Bag?
Below are suggestions on what to include in a Blessing Bag: All suggested items are OPTIONAL. If there are other items you wish to include not listed please do so. Trial sized toiletries are best but not required.
Blessing bags should be packed in gallon ziplocks.
What goes in a Blessing Bag?
Necessities:
- Bag of quarters
- Bandaids
- Mini-bottle of water
- Baby/body Wipes
- Hand Sanitizer
- Washcloth
- First Aid Kit (Travel Size)
- Winter Gloves
- $5 cash
- Socks (we will have Bombas Socks to include in Blessing Bags at the Acts of Care - Service Day scheduled for Friday, November 11)
- Handwarmers (We will have handwarmers to include in Blessing Bags at the Acts of Care - Service Day scheduled for Friday, November 11)
- Kind Note: (Drop a note in the bagged lunch with an inspirational quote, bible verse or a simple message to bring cheer to someone's day.)
Non-persishable Food Items:
- Instant Oatmeal Packs
- Granola Bar
- Trail Mix
- Gum/Hard Candy
- Fruit Cup/Apple Sauce
- Beef Jerky
- $5 - $10 gift card to fast-food restaurant
Toiletries:
- Lipbalm
- Comb
- Toothbrush
- Toothpaste
- Soap
- Elastic Hair Band

Get the kids involved! This is the PERFECT project to get children involved. Grab the crayons and markers and have the kiddos draw a picture to include in the blessing bags. Whether it be your children, grandchildren, neighbors or kids in your classroom - get them involved!
